State-of-the-art technology to enhance your driving pleasureThe Audi A6 has added to its record of technological innovations with a number of updated features across the range. These include Adaptive Air Suspension which gives you enhanced road handling and greater driving comfort; the new quattro 40:60 rear biased torque distribution for greater agility; Audi Side Assist, which alerts you to vehicles moving into the blind spot at speeds of over 60 km/h; and Audi Lane Assist, which sends vibration alerts to the steering wheel if you start to veer out of lane. adaptive air suspension The electronically regulated air suspension system with infinitely adjustable damping adapts the suspension automatically to the current driving situation. Primarily there are four basic settings that can be selected using the MMI: lift, automatic, comfort and dynamic. Lift mode raises the car by 15 mm at speeds up to 80 km/h.
quattro® With quattro® permanent all-wheel drive with asymmetric/dynamic torque split the drive forces can be distributed variably and instantaneously by means of a mechanical centre differential to the front and rear wheels, with a basic torque split of 40:60. quattro® thus enables not only better traction but also a sportier and more dynamic driving style, particularly on winding roads.
Audi Side Assist This lane change assistant uses radar sensors within the limits of the system to help you monitor the car’s blind spot and the traffic situation behind the vehicle. The light in the exterior mirror informs you if Audi Side Assist considers a detected vehicle to be critical in the event of a lane change.
Audi Lane Assist Audi Lane Assist helps the driver to stay in lane, within the limits of the system, thus preventing accidents. If the vehicle threatens to wander out of its lane, the assistance system informs the driver by means of vibrations in the steering wheel.
